The two-day events are being held concurrently at Fairwood Golf and Country Club in Renton, Wash.

The championship will consist of 36 holes of stroke play, with two-person teams competing in gross and net divisions. Play will be contested on two courses at Sunriver Resort, Round One was played on the Woodlands Course and Rounds Two and Three on the Meadows Course, using a different format on each day – Four-Ball, Chapman, and Four-Ball.

Klein will take a one-stroke lead into Tuesday’s Final Round. Chasing her are Karen Brannon of Redmond, Wash., and Rachel Strauss of Seattle, Wash. who both posted scores of seven-over-par 78.

In the Super Senior Division, Sue Hubbard of Kent, Wash. leads the pack after posting a Round-One score of five-over-par 76. Hubbard stole the show today when she made a hole-in-one on the par-3 12th hole. She made another birdie on the 15th to give her a healthy lead heading into the Final Round.

Past Champion and PNGA Hall of Famer Ann Swanson of Bellevue, Wash. trails Hubbard by four shots after her opening round of nine-over-par 80.

Final Round play will begin on Tuesday, October 7th with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.

Both Championships were set to be hosted last October at Arrowhead Golf Club in Molalla, Ore. The first round was cancelled due to rain, with hopes of the weather subsiding before the second round, however, the heavy rain resulted in course conditions being unplayable. Both Championships were unfortunately cancelled.

The Senior Championship is being played as a 5,518-yard par 71. The Super Senior Championship is a par 71, with a yardage of 5,238.

The Pacific Northwest Senior Women’s and Super Senior Women’s Amateur are two of 16 major, regional, amateur championships for men, women, juniors, and seniors conducted annually throughout the Northwest by the PNGA.
