Apple Tree’s Resort Community continues to grow
Like the apple orchards surrounding the golf course, Apple Tree’s Resort Community continues to grow. This summer, Apple Tree launched Clubhouse Park, featuring an oversized swimming pool, hot tub, park area and three lighted Pickleball courts—all adjacent to the golf course clubhouse and the Apple Tree Grill. With the Pickleball community booming in the Yakima Valley, Apple Tree has already sold out its first four group Pickleball lessons with over 50 participants.
According to General Manager Jon Kinloch, “We’ve always looked at ways to differentiate Apple Tree from other communities in our area. While all of that started with building a community around the region’s premier golf course, adding two parks with swimming pools, a playground, basketball court, and now three lighted Pickleball courts, Apple Tree is much more than a golf course community.”

The additional amenities come on the heels of Apple Tree releasing more than 50 new homesites in three different sections of the community. Phase 4B features some of the most spectacular settings in the community with panoramic views of holes nine, 17, and 18, all within a secure gated community called Apple Tree Parkway. Golden Ridge homesites are also gated, but not directly on the golf course, allowing residents to have fenced back yards. Homesites at Apple Tree range from $120K – $200K and completed home and homesite packages start in the low $700s—all making living at Apple Tree a great value.
“When people relocate to Yakima from a larger market, they are not only pleasantly surprised with the quality and size of home they can afford, they often become excited about the resident amenities. It becomes very easy for them to picture themselves becoming golf members, taking golf or Pickleball lessons, enjoying an evening at the pool, or bringing friends out for an evening on the deck at the Apple Tree Grill. Delivering all of that at a great value has been very appealing to buyers.”
