PNGA Men’s Senior Team Championship, Round 2 Recap

Good scoring continued during the second round of the 31st Pacific Northwest Men’s Senior Team Championship. After a one hour fog delay the sun warmed the course up and players had another perfect scoring day. Following Wednesday’s four-ball format, today players played a chapman. First round co-leaders Jim McNelis and Karl Smith, both of Gig Harbor, Wash. fired a 1-under par 71 and remain co-leaders at 9-under par going into tomorrow’s final round. Keith Best and Hank Chafin both of Pasco, Wash. climbed the leaderboard after posting the round of the day, 4-under par 67 to also sit as co-leaders.

 

In all, 10 teams remain under par.

 

Tomorrow’s final round will be on the Meadows Course and played in a four-ball format.
