Zack Hall is an award-winning writer who developed the Central Oregon golf beat after becoming The Bulletin’s first full-time golf writer before going freelance. He is currently vice president of the Oregon Golf Association executive committee. Rob Lundgren is a freelance golf writer in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He is a former news reporter for The Idaho Press-Tribune. Yvonne Pepin-Wakefield, Ph.D., is a published author and artist. She took up the game in 2016 and is known for her colorful language on the golf course. Martin Pool is a historian who has written numerous articles about the history of golf in the Northwest. He is co-founder of the Northwest Hickory Players. Bart Potter has taught journalism at a public college and private university, and won awards for sports writing and news reporting as a daily journalist. He serves as secretary of the Northwest Golf Media Association, and manages the golf and travel website, greygoateegolf.com. Allen Schauffler spent 30 years in television news as an on-air news anchor, mostly with KING-5, the Seattle NBC affiliate. He is a charter member of the Northwest Golf Media Association. Jeff Shelley has written and published nine books, including three editions of Golf Courses of the Pacific Northwest, and co-wrote Championships & Friendships: The First 100 Years of the Pacific Northwest Golf Association. Brad Ziemer had a 30-year career at the Vancouver Sun newspaper as an editor and sports writer. In 2013, Golf Canada presented him with its Distinguished Service Award.
