Old Macdonald, which has been open for a decade, has never had its own restaurant. But resort officials saw the need, as the golf destinations popularity continues to thrive. Bandon Dunes does not publicize the amount of rounds that are played on the resorts courses, which also include the 13-hole par-3 Bandon Preserve. But the resort is largely sold out for on-site reservations through 2023, even with the opening last year of the Round Lake lodging, which added 24 rooms, giving the resort 210 total rooms in six different styles of lodging. Golf participation has grown throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
