b'IDAHO GOLF NEWSDarrington takes home eighth Senior Womens titleHumbled would be the word to describe Karen Darringtons mood following what is now her eighth Idaho Senior Womens Amateur victory. In an event where even the perpetual trophy is named after her, Darrington proved yet again that her name will go down in Idaho golfing history as being one of the best players to compete in an IGA event. She shot rounds of 76-69-73 at Jerome Country Club, finishing 12 shots ahead of second-place finisher Stacey Camara. Its humbling, Darrington said. I really appreciate the IGA for naming the trophy after me. That means a lot. Someday I am not going to be here, and who knows what my legacy will be, if I have a legacy. I just hope I can keep going.
