Casey Martin Misses Cut but Makes Strong Impression

After carding rounds of 74 and 75 for a 36-hole total of 9-over 149, Casey Martin won’t make the weekend cut in the U.S. Open at Olympic Club in San Francisco.

This year the former Nationwide and PGA Tour player and current Oregon men’s golf coach qualified for his second Open – the first was in 1998 also at Olympic, when he finished 23rd.
