Teams Go Low During the Second Round of the Pacific NW Women’s Senior And Super Senior Team Championship

Rainy weather did not stop the teams from firing low scores during the second round of the Pacific Northwest Women’s Senior and Super Senior Team Championship. Teri Gangi (Poulsbo, Wash.) and Lisa Harper (Bainbridge, Wash.) fired a second round score of 3-under 69 to stay in a tie for the lead. But a second round 67 (5-under) for Ginny Burkey (Eugene, Ore.) and Leilani Norman (Eugene, Ore.) got them into a tie for the lead with Gangi and Harper heading into the final round of the Women’s Senior Team Championship. Both teams have a one-shot lead over Kathryn McGarvey (North Vancouver, BC) and Elaine Blatchford (Surrey, BC).
