2nd Annual PNGA Overseas Trip
County Down, Northern Ireland
May 11-18, 2013
“For me, the trip was over-the-top good, and exceeded my expectations. The golf, accommodations, service, itinerary and the group experience were all exceptional. The PNGA reps on the tour – Karen and Derek – stepped up seamlessly to coordinate pieces on the trip. I extended my trip for several days beyond the PNGA tour, and Sullivan set the itinerary for us. I have nothing but kudos for Sullivan’s attention to true customer service on both legs of our trip.”
– Bob Zych, 2013 participant
The 2013 PNGA Overseas Trip was sold out, as 27 travelers took the trip of a lifetime to Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Spending the first two nights at the historic Slieve Donard Hotel in the seaside village of Newcastle in Northern Ireland, the group got to play one of the most famous golf courses in the world, Royal County Down. The next day they went to play Ardglass Golf Club, which has what’s billed as the oldest clubhouse in the world, using the ruins of an old castle as part of the building.
For the next five nights, the group stayed at the Davenport Hotel in downtown Dublin, where they got to experience the city’s nightlife after a day spent on the region’s finest links golf courses. They played The Island Golf Club, Baltray Golf Club, European Club and Portmarnock Golf Club.
