PNGA Women’s Committee
Vision: “The Women’s Committee works to support the special interests of women by influencing and shaping Championships to provide an exceptional experience for the female golfer.”
Goal: “To increase participation in PNGA Women’s Championships.”
Hello Women Golfers! Thank you for visiting the Club Representative’s secure section of the PNGA website and taking an interest in what your golf organization is all about. Please allow me to introduce myself to you, along with some information about the upcoming year.
I am Leslie Crawford, Club Representative for the Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa in Victoria, BC., and Zone 4 Representative. Since becoming involved with the PNGA in 2012, I have been continually impressed with the organization, professionalism, and classiness of the PNGA and its’ ideals. This has made it an easy decision for me to devote my volunteer time to this organization geared toward the golfer and the fabulous game of golf we all love. I’m excited and pleased to be taking over as Chair of the PNGA Women’s Committee as Lynne Crandall now takes on her new role as Past Chair.
Discussions and survey conclusions from the past couple of years have brought to light many redundancies – things that were being done by the Women’s Division were now also be done by either the Championship Committee and team or the main body of the PNGA. Our purpose as the redefined Women’s Committee is to provide value in areas that other groups are not covering, and thus the formation of a specific goal last fall. This year our committee will move forward with specific strategies and tasks designed to achieve our goal of increasing participation in PNGA Women’s Championships.
It’s critical that we serve a purpose to you, the women of the PNGA, so if you have ideas and suggestions for improvement of the Women’s Championships please send that feedback to me at email@example.com. Thank you for your support!
