Gail Harvey Moore, Inducted 2009

Gail Moore

As a 16-year old, Gail Harvey Moore won the first of three consecutive Canadian Girls' Junior titles in 1958. Gail would eventually be included on 21 provincial teams, 12 of which would be representing her adoptive province of British Columbia, where Moore moved with her husband in 1966.

In 1970, Moore captured both the Canadian Ladies Amateur and BC Ladies Amateur titles. Her successful tournament play and team experience culminated with positions on seven National teams. The 1979 Commonwealth Team came home with the title, perhaps Moore's most outstanding achievement.
