I joined the PNGA in May 2014 excited to work with a sports organization that promotes the positive impact of athletics beyond the scorecard. Being involved in a variety of sports throughout my life has provided me with incredible experiences making a network of lasting relationships and a college education both of which are part of the foundation for my life today. I am not the technical expert for the rules of the golf but I play with my family and friends to know the value of the game for its life lessons and personal benefits. My principle role is to manage the business matters of the association utilizing my accounting degree from Boise State University (Go Broncos!) and my successful work experience managing the human resources and finances of many non-profit organizations and services, becoming a leader in finance operations and compliance.
How did you first find out about the Association?
I've been aware of the Association since I began playing golf years ago noticing the logo at various golf courses. Only now do I realize the benefits of membership and that no professional performance is required! I am working on my game to establish my own handicap.
What is your favorite part about living in the Pacific Northwest, and what's your favorite outdoor activity?
My favorite part of the Northwest is the terrain of mountains, evergreen, and lakes. I like trail running to mountain tops for the breath taking views.
