I came to the Association as a USGA P.J. Boatwright Intern in May of 2014, and was hired to the full time staff as the Assistant Manager of Rules & Competition in December of 2014. I became Manager, Membership & Club Relations in December of 2018.
I grew up in Port Hadlock, Wash. and graduated from Washington State University in 2013 with a degree in Strategic Communication. I've always been around the game. My father had a career as a golf course superintendent, and my mother worked along with him.
I have always wanted to work in the golf industry. I began with an internship at the American Junior Golf Association, then in the Marketing Dept. at Washington State University Athletics, and also with the Sounders U-23 and Women's teams, before finding my way to the Association.
I have healthy obsessions, with both my golf game and my Cougs!
What aspect of club relations do you enjoy the most?
I grew up around the golf courses my parents worked at, and my first job was at Port Ludlow Golf Club, where I worked for seven years before coming to the Association. I have always felt like my family extended to the folks I have been lucky enough to get to know around these golf courses. Now I have the good fortune of making this possible for others, and by working with clubs around the Pacific Northwest, I feel like I have the opportunity to let others experience the game in ways similar to how I have. I love that I have the ability to help clubs build their businesses and their membership, growing the families created through this great game.
Who would be in your Dream Foursome?
Bill Murray, Miguel Angel Jimenez, David Feherty.
