The original clubhouse officially opened in June 1926 on the banks of the Columbia River. That clubhouse burned to the ground in a Christmas tree fire in 1979. The current clubhouse was built in 1980 and underwent a dramatic transformation when a nearly $9 million renovation was performed in 2024. Columbia Edgewater has hosted the LPGA Tours Standard Portland Classic 37 times, first doing so in 1974.
