Rachel von Cluck joins PNGA staff
Please join us in welcoming Rachel von Cluck aboard as our new office administrator at the Pacific Northwest Golf Association.
Get to know a little bit about Rachel:
I grew up in Black Diamond, Wash., a city surrounded by evergreen trees with access to small lakes and rivers. As a kid I became interested in a number of sports, including golf, and my mother would take me and my brothers to the local driving range on occasion.
I attended Green River Community College, earning an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies. I have two children, a three-year-old son and 14-year-old daughter.
How did you first hear about the Association?
I first learned about the association through an online search, as my passion for sports drew me to seek opportunities within the industry. One of the most memorable experiences I have was watching the 2015 U.S. Open, held at Chambers Bay, on television. I quickly became a fan of Jordan Spieth.
What is your favorite part about living in the Pacific Northwest?
I love to get out and explore the Pacific Northwest. There are so many enjoyable activities to do outside, from hiking trails on Mt. Rainier, to water-skiing on a nearby lake or taking a trip to the ocean.
