Eric Sjogren joins PNGA Staff

Please join us in welcoming our newest staff member at the Pacific Northwest Golf Association, Eric Sjogren, PGA. Eric joins the PNGA Championship Department as an Assistant Director of Rules & Competition.

Get to know a little bit about Eric:

Give some background on yourself:

I was born and raised in Vancouver, Washington. After starting at Washington State University, I transferred to the University of Idaho where I completed my degree in Marketing with an emphasis in PGA Professional Golf Management in 2017. In my free time, I like to attend as many sporting events as possible and I enjoy staying active with my wife, Cara.

Where did you get your start the industry? What’s your favorite thing about golf?

I spent several years at Bend Golf Club (Bend, Ore.) and Royal Oaks Country Club (Vancouver, Wash.) before joining the PNGA in the spring of 2022. I particularly enjoy being around the tournament atmosphere and having the ability to grow the game of golf through competition.

Who would be the three other players in your dream foursome?

My father Greg, grandfather Bob and brother Jeff.
