Dick Lyle passes

Dick Lyle of West Vancouver, B.C. passed away on December 29 at the age of 70. A longtime volunteer and Board member for British Columbia Golf who eventually became a full-time staff member, Dick was passionate about junior golf ans served as a non-playing captain of several junior teams. He became involved with course rating where he quickly earned the title of master course rater. He did a wonderful job of coordinating ratings across the province and was instrumental in bringing the men’s and women’s rating teams together after the merger.
