McCaslin Gains Solo Lead Ahead of Final Round at the PNGA Men’s Mid-Amateur

Jon McCaslin of Olympia, Wash. fired a 3-under 69 to gain a one shot lead over David Hansen after the second round of the 35th PNGA Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship being held at The Home Course in DuPont, Washington. Hansen, of Edmonds, Wash. had the low round of the day with a 5-under 67 to push himself up the leaderboard into solo second place. PNGA Senior Men’s Player of the Year finished the day at 1-under 71 to move up to a tie for fifth place. As the wind picked up, scoring conditions became tougher with only eight players under par for today’s round.
