Norm Bradley holds lead at PNGA Senior Men’s Amateur; Gary Vanier leads Super Senior
Norm Bradley of Kelowna, B.C opened the 54th Pacific Northwest Senior Men’s Amateur with a first round score of 1-under 70, taking a two-shot overnight lead; while Gary Vanier of Driggs, Idaho fired an even-par 71 to lead round one of the 9th Super Senior Men’s Amateur.
Both championships are being held concurrently at Sunriver Resort (Ore.) on the resort’s Meadows course, and are conducted by the Pacific Northwest Golf Association (PNGA). The Senior Men’s Amateur includes men 55 years of age or older while the Super Senior Men’s Amateur includes men age 65 years or older.

Bradley was the only player in the field to break par on the 6,777-yard layout, closing his round with two birdies in the final four holes.
Tom Lewis of Bonney Lake, Wash. who fired a 1-over 72, sits two strokes back of Bradley.
Vanier’s round included three bogeys matched by three birdies, including a birdie on the par-4 18th to finish the round at even par.
In second place at the Super Senior is Scott Masingill of Payette, Idaho, sitting at 1-over par just one back of Vanier.
