Northwest Players Garner National Awards for 2017

Global Golf Post has selected its 2017 Amateurs of the Year, and several Northwest players received recognition. Among them are Amanda Jacobs of Portland, Ore., named to the first team in the Women’s Mid-Amateur category; Jacobs was also named the 2017 PNGA Women’s Mid-Amateur Player of the Year.

Also earning recognition is Victoria Fallgren of Spokane, Wash., who was named to the Second Team in the Women’s Mid-Amateur category. Fallgren was also selected as the 2017 WSGA Women’s Mid-Amateur Player of the Year.

Lara Tennant of Portland, Ore. was selected for the First Team in the Women’s Senior Amateur category. Tennant was also selected as the 2017 PNGA Senior Women’s Player of the Year.

Jackie Little of Port Alberni, B.C. was selected as Honorable Mention in the Women’s Senior Amateur category. In 2015, Little was inducted into the PNGA Hall of Fame.
