Player of the Year Ian Siebers leads U.S. to Junior Presidents Cup win
Two-time WA Golf Junior Boys’ Player of the Year Ian Siebers (Bellevue, Wash.) won 2.5 points for the U.S. team en route to a 13-11 victory over the International Team at the Junior Presidents Cup, held December 8-9 at Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Australia.
Siebers was one of 12 golfers selected to represent the U.S. team at the 2019 Junior Presidents Cup in Australia, which precedes the PGA Tour’s Presidents Cup.
Siebers is a two-time recipient of the WA Golf Junior Boy’s player of the year award, and the PNGA Junior Boy’s player of the year award (2018 and 2019). This summer he won the individual title at the Junior America’s Cup and made it to the quarterfinals at the Pacific Northwest Junior Boys’ Amateur.
