Adam Svensson of Surrey, B.C. finished T7 at last week’s Sony Open in Hawaii. Svensson had won three times on the Korn Ferry Tour, and was exempted onto this year’s PGA Tour by finishing in the Top 50 Korn Ferry money list. Caddying for Svensson at the Sony Open was Tim Tucker, the Coos Bay, Ore. native who had been the caddie for Bryson DeChambeau for a few years until mid-last season. This was the first week Tucker was on Svensson’s bag. Tucker played in the 2013 PNGA Men’s Amateur, held that year at Bandon Dunes, and made it to the round of 16 after tying for medalist honors. Svensson was named the 2014 PNGA Player of the Year (and the 2012 PNGA Junior Boys’ Player of the Year).
