PNGA Senior & Super Senior Women’s Amateur and Women’s Mid-Amateur Championships being held at Twin Lakes Golf & Country Club
Federal Way, Wash. – The 36th Pacific Northwest Senior Women’s, 11th Super Senior Women’s and 21st Women’s Mid-Amateur Championships are being held September 19-21 at Twin Lakes Golf & Country Club in Federal Way, Wash.
The three-day 54-hole stroke-play competitions begin on Tuesday, September 19th at 8:00am. The championships feature many of the top senior, super senior and women’s mid-amateur golfers from around the Pacific Northwest.

Notable players in the Senior Women’s Amateur:
- Shelly Stouffer (Nanoose Bay, B.C.) – 2022 PNGA Senior Women’s Amateur champion and Senior Women’s Player of the Year; 2022 U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur champion.
- Rosie Cook (Bend, Ore.) – 2021 PNGA Senior Women’s Amateur champion; qualified for the 2023 U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur.
- Leslie Folsom (Tukwila, Wash.) – 2019 PNGA Senior Women’s Amateur champion; three-time Washington Golf Senior Women’s Player of the Year.

- Marcia Fisher (Molalla, Ore.) – PNGA Hall-of-Famer; two-time defending PNGA Super Senior Women’s Amateur champion.
- Karen Madison (Spokane Valley, Wash.) – 2015 PNGA Super Senior Women’s Amateur champion; three-time Washington Super Senior Women’s Amateur champion.
Notable players in the Women’s Mid-Amateur:
- Tina Papatolis (Issaquah, Wash.) – 2019 Washington Women’s Mid-Amateur champion; played in the 2019 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur.
- Audrey Dalton (Milwaukie, Ore.) – Played in the 2022 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur; played four years of college golf at Georgetown University.
The PNGA Senior, Super Senior and Women’s Mid-Amateur Championships are three of 11 major, regional amateur championships for men, women, juniors, and seniors conducted annually by the PNGA throughout the Northwest.
Entries for Senior and Super Senior championships are open to female amateur golfers who are members of a PNGA Member Association with an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index or Golf Canada Handicap Factor not exceeding 12.4. Players in the Senior Championship must be fifty or older, while players in the Super Senior Championship must be sixty-five or older.
Entries for the Women’s Mid-Amateur are open to female are open to female amateur golfers who are 25 or older and are members of a PNGA Member Association with an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index or Golf Canada Handicap Factor not exceeding 12.4.
