The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course

What makes for a picturesque golf experience?

Could it be reaching perfectly manicured fairways after riding in a custom-crafted mahogany boat? Maybe lush carpets of Bentgrass, beds of 30,000 red geraniums, or lake views from every angle?

The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course presents many views worthy of admiration, matched with the brilliance of the park-like and expertly designed course that can challenge any player.

Test your shot by hitting the first and only floating, moveable island golf green or join the thousands that get their ball fished out of the water by divers every season.

Either way, this golf experience will have you coming back for more.

The 6,803-yard, par 71 course boasts views of Lake Coeur d’Alene from nearly every hole and is designed around four distinct geographic features: an expansive lakeshore, a forested ridge, gently rolling woodlands, and Fernan Creek.

The famous 14th Hole, The Floating Green, is recognized around the globe as an iconic feat of engineering and design—the 22,000-ton marvel that changes position via an intricate underwater cable system. Each day, this par 3 hole moves anywhere from 90 yards from the forward tee, up to 220 yards from the championship tees. The standard tee will typically play from 140–170 yards.

Every player is considered a member at the Coeur d’Alene Resort, but that doesn’t mean a lack of golfer amenities, which include unlimited lakefront, over-water practice tee privileges using floating golf balls, 2,400 sq. ft. putting green, 3,500 sq. ft. chipping green, and practice sand bunkers.

Certified PGA Professionals are available by reservation to assist with golf instruction for individuals and groups. A forecaddie is your private on-course concierge to assist with raking bunkers, locating golf balls, maintaining clean clubs, and providing yardage distances to the pin or any other points of need with accurate laser rangefinders.

Additionally, transportation in luxury golf carts, pre-round warm-up sports massages, secured club storage and cleaning, and a take-home personalized engraved souvenir bag tag.

Experience everything the course and the resort have to offer when you book one of the popular Stay & Play packages, which include luxurious lodging, tranquil services at the full-service spa, lakeside infinity pool access, or dining at one of the many award-winning resort restaurants.

The experts at Golf DigestGolf Magazine, and Conde Nast Traveler agree: this is one of the world’s most memorable golf experiences anywhere.

Don’t just take their word for it. Visit the Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course, where nature unveils its Pacific Northwest beauty, with unmatched service and pristine course conditions.

You’ll never be short on good views or good times.
