Transitions Golf Tournament

7:30 Check In – 9 AM Shotgun Scramble

On August 30, 2024, the Braves Booster Club will host a Golf Tournament at Swinomish Golf Links in Anacortes, WA.

With your help, we will support and recognize student’s academic success, memorialize the end of an era, and provide the necessary support and resources needed to transition the students at La Conner High School into the labor market or postsecondary studies. Although this can be a time of independence, learning, and self-discovery, it is also a significant period of psychological development.

The transition into adulthood, building new relationships, taking on financial independence, and entering new and unfamiliar environments can be overwhelming. To date, caring family members and other adults have provided the guidance needed to prepare our emerging adults for this next step, and yet the transition beyond high school can feel uncertain to students.

Our goal is to increase awareness around the mental health challenges that can come with this transition into adulthood. We invite you to support the students of LCHS through community, sponsorship, guidance, and competitive rivalry.
