Dale Jackson Blogging from the Olympics

Dale--Jackson Dale Jackson, a longtime member of the PNGA Board of Directors from Royal Colwood in Victoria, B.C., is serving as a referee in the golf competition of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. He will be posting a blog about his experiences this week. Dale is chairman of the Rules Committee for Golf Canada, and works closely with the USGA and the Royal & Ancient in reviewing and protecting the Rules of Golf in Canada and worldwide.

Photo of the Olympic golf trophy from the 1904 Olympics, the last time golf was an Olympic sport.  The trophy is housed in the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame, as Canadian George Lyon won the gold that year (PNGA Hall-of-Famer Chandler Egan took home the silver).  It will now be given to the winner in 2016.
