Past champions tied atop PNGA Men’s Senior Team; Daniels and Jonson lead Super Seniors
Erik Hanson of Kirkland, Wash. and Craig Larson of Tacoma, Wash. sit tied atop the leaderboard with Pat O’Donnell of Happy Valley, Ore. and Denny Taylor of Gladstone, Ore. after the first round of the 2017 Pacific Northwest Men’s Senior Team Championship; while Larry Daniels of Seattle, Wash. and Mike Jonson of Sammamish, Wash. lead the Super Senior Men’s Team Championship.
Both championships are being held concurrently at Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Wash., and are being conducted by the PNGA.

Defending champions Hanson and Larson find themselves tied atop the Men’s Senior Team leaderboard with 2015 champions O’Donnell and Taylor after rounds of 7-under par 65 in the Four-Ball format. Three teams sit just one stroke off the lead at 6-under par with a host of others within striking distance.
Earlier this year Hanson won his fourth PNGA Men’s Master-40 Amateur title.
O’Donnell is the reigning PNGA Senior Men’s Player of the Year.
In the Men’s Super Senior Team Championship Daniels and Jonson combined for a 7-under 65 to grab a three-shot lead over Ben Manchion and Tom Kubisa, both of Bremerton, Wash., and Alan Defoe of Calgary, Alta. and Ron Bell of Vancouver, BC.
Defending champions Charlie Wozow and Toat Brandvold, both of Snohomish, Wash., sit four-shots back at 3-under par.
