Sias and Nelson Build Lead at Women’s Senior Team

After the second round of the 31st Pacific Northwest Women’s Senior Team Championship, the team of Mary Sias of Portland, Ore. and Jackie Nelson of Hillsboro, Ore. built their 3-stroke lead into a 7-stroke lead heading into tomorrow’s final round. The team followed up yesterday’s 1-over par 73 in the Four-Ball format on the Woodlands course at Sunriver Resort with a field best 6-over par 71 in today’s Chapman format on the Meadows course. Tomorrow’s final round will be contested on the Meadows course using a Four-Ball format.

In second place is the team of Kathie Morris of Gresham, Ore. and Eloise Carson of Portland, Ore.
