O’Donnell takes early lead at PNGA Senior Am; Masingill and Phillips tied at Super Senior
Pat O’Donnell of Happy Valley, Ore. shot the only under-par round of the day, a 1-under 71, to take the first round lead at the 55th Pacific Northwest Senior Men’s Amateur; while Scott Masingill of Payette, Idaho and Tom Phillips of Scottsdale, Ariz. both shot even-par 72 to sit tied for the lead in the 10th Pacific Northwest Super Senior Men’s Amateur.
Both championships are being held concurrently this week at Florence (Ore.) Golf Links.

The second round of the three-day 54-hole stroke-play competitions will be held tomorrow, June 5.
